I mean the golden rule with how you speak about people is really just to listen to what people tell you about what makes them feel respected
So feel free to use dude gender neutrally if thats how you speak, and if someone says they don’t feel good in it, stop. If youre worried it might not feel great for someone you can always just say you’re used to using it gender neutrally and ask 🤷🏻♂️

A while back the gnome project had a really interesting and cool unique take on tiling functionality that would bring the otherwise more complex, keyboard shortcut centric desktop ux to a more mouse centric average user userbase

It used to be a meme that you need to recompile your kernel any time something goes wrong on linux, or to do anything.
Its just a fucking outlandish nonsense critisism. The joke is that it sounds like the way some people have criticized linux without realizing they don’t know that they’re talking about, and it’s exacerbating how silly it is to being cartoonishly absurd

Yeah this also kinda reads as slop to me, though I can’t be 100% sure.
The faces on the sun and moon are also pretty weird. The chains at some point are shaded in a weird almost smudged way that ai sometimes does. And one of the latitude lines running through the eastern side of north america kinda weirdly hitches to the right

You dont have to know them all. Its just a comfort to people to have a label when you can’t otherwise communicate your experience :) (and in some cases it makes you feel less alone and weird for relating to people in a way you dont see anyone else experiencing)
And there are a lot of ways to experience sexuality and attraction (or to not experience it), so there are a lot of labels! But you dont need to know all of them
You can always ask if someone uses a label you dont know and you’d like to know (eg “oh, ive not heard that label before. What does it mean to you?") and as long as you’re being friendly people usually take comfort in seeing someone interested in understanding them. But unless you’re in community with someone and want to understand their identity, its not neccesary to really know the various labels, nevermind have a complete list and know all of them by heart

Butch is definitely still around, my best friend is butch 😅 there’s concern butch doesnt exist anymore??
It has a specific meaning not everyone identifies with, but I very regularly meet folks for whom Butch is what captures a part of their identity, sexuality, and gender. And alternately, sometimes also meet people who identify as masc 🤷🏻♂️

You might like micro :) its like nano but with more user friendly features like Ctrl+s for save, and clicking places to change cursor location. I think you have to enable the “cheat sheet” of keyboard commands being visible all the time if you want it to always be showing like I do
It also supports extensions but I don’t really care about that lol. I just want something simple with nice ux :)

Unless I’m missing something the article still feels written by a person to me, but my ability to identify ai writing may be less sharply tuned compared to others, or out of date 🤷🏻♂️
