• Open world content, community funsies/rp content, collections, there’s a lot more you can do. Look at the vanilla plus private servers…or even Guild Wars 2 where leveling is exponentially faster than wow but you still have near infinite stuff to do. There’s tons of ways to do this without constant content additions, you just have to break out of the mindset of min/maxing and progression chasing, do stuff for fun instead of the slot machine effects.

• Everybody should just periodically read random court cases, this stuff has always been extremely common and the sop when the mistakes are uncovered is to double down, just attempt to fully bury the innocent person in the system. This is a daily occurrence in every single state in the US.

• Yeah Cyberpunk is unfair example, the VA for fem V was absolutely perfect and dudes was very mediocre. Same with AC Odyssey, the VA for Kassandra gave such a great performance I don’t even remember the brother option despite him still being in the rest of the game lol. And of course anything with Jennifer Hale voicing a playable character practically removes the alternatives for me, still main a plant lady in GW2 and only play femshep in ME because I love her acting so much.

• I agree until cyberpunk, I enjoyed just being in NC even more than I enjoyed doing the main questlines. But yeah W1 is my favorite Witcher game by far despite starting it after dropping the other two pretty early on…I eventually went back to finish 3, and there’s a lot to love, but man the pacing and filler just kills it for me.

• It’s a gaming capable PC that can provide an actual benchmark target…for the first time in the entire history of the industry if you exclude handhelds (even then isn’t the deck the only one that actually became a target for a notable number of studios). That alone is worth some extra cost. It’s a great entry point for people who only know their phone and it’s app store, you know, the vast majority of humanity…also great for people curious about non-windows/apple OS that are intimidated by the sheer volume of knowledge you need to even pick an alternative OS let alone use it reliably. What about all the work Valve keeps doing on open source projects and Linux gaming as a whole?

  You’re ignoring everything about the device except the price and a per-piece comparison of hardware, when in reality it’s about the whole package…plus most of your complaints here have straight up just been you upset that some randos online argued with about both of your speculations on price.
