on DLSS 5 comes with a massive 50-60% performance hit, so I hope you like lower frame rates with your dose of AI image enhancement in c/technology@lemmy.world · 3 Sep 2026
Dlss was originally an anti aliasing technique (its in the name) so it has originally been a performance hit. It was casual change and marketing that decided that upscaling from a lower resolution was the norm.
DLDSR is essentially what DLSS 1.0 was
If youre upscaling from a lower resolution, thats no longer the SS in DLSS (super sampling)

on Some Claude users are mad that Anthropic’s new watermarks will catch them using it at their jobs, classes in c/technology@lemmy.world · 13 Aug 2026
i find it funny how some users tried to argue that they did most of the work. it doesnt matter if you did most of the work, everyone as students were supposed to learn to cite your sources. even if you just used claude to reorganize info, theres no reason why you would be against watermarking it unless you wanted to hide the fact you used claude.

curious sakes, what distro do they preload on customers.
If your media stack is containerized with docker (no idea how you installed it), you need to go into your docker compose file and grant the container access to your drive.
