If art isn’t perfect, we can shrug. If something goes wrong with manufacturing, programming, whatever, much smaller issues can shut things down. Art brooks a greater margin of “error”.

Note that the computer that made that simulated world for Moriarty is itself a (usually) language-driven AI. Not making a real point here, just noting the humor in it.
Its relevance increases every year. Truly it was prophetic.
