Because it is
This impressed me: GPT-5.6 Astra turned Zork (the classic 1977 text adventure) into a full 3D playable action-adventure game It kept the original plot & puzzles, added fight scenes, and built all of the characters & environments directly in Threejs code
There’s all kinds of weird stuff, like being able to move behind the Fireplace or the window “in the corner of the house” being smack dab in the middle of that face of the building.

on Apple macOS Screen Sharing Flaw Exploited on Internet-Exposed Macs to Install Monero Miner in c/technology@lemmy.world · 23 Aug 2026
[…] screen sharing with zoom
It’s a bit more nuanced than that and most casual users likely are not vulnerable to this exploit:
[…] requires the target Mac to have Screen Sharing or Remote Management enabled with “VNC viewers may control screen with password” configured and the attacker is already in possession of that VNC password
Regardless, victim blaming is still lame

on Why your Amazon order confirmation emails have become so unhelpful in c/technology@lemmy.world · 18 Aug 2026

I’ve always kept my “ordered” and “delivered” emails in order to have a searchable database of what I ordered and when.
Without the item name, making that discovery is a lot more challenging.
