I think you’re really overestimating the scale. The population of the US and Canada prior to European arrival was at the highest estimate 13 million.
The modern population of the US alone is 340 million. Essentially you’d have to be exceedingly wealthy to have deer meat once a month under that plan.
Additionally, the Natives did manage forests to be much more productive, but the largest population growth seen throughout North America followed the introduction of domestic crops such as corn. The forests did produce more food than today, but you’re overstating their effectiveness. And I won’t even get into how many of the cultures of North America weren’t even reliant on deer.
Honestly the only way to get calories in an environmentally conscious way would be to cut out meat entirely. Nothing the Native Americans were doing would come close to even being able to feed the modern population.

Absolutely not, not even close.
There are 86.2 million cows in the US right now. Milk cows make up 9.57 million. These will also be slaughtered, but after many years.
There are an estimated 30 to 35 million deer in the US. That’s a huge difference. 30 million cows are slaughtered each year.
Plus an adult deer weighs 203lbs on average while a full weight cow weighs around 1,200 pounds. So you need 6 adult deer to make the weight of 1 cow.
Deer would be extinct locally within 6 months if we tried to replace beef consumption this way.

2020 was a great year for me personally, bad year for the world in general though.
Honestly I completed a lot of personal/life milestones that year. They probably would have been nicer without the backdrop of a global pandemic, but oh well

My moral quagmire starts when the fascists are dead. Honestly I’m taking this a lot less far than many here would. I’d stop with those actually responsible. I don’t waste time hand wringing about bombing schools and empowering ICE to brutalize the country

I worked in the government for a bit, national park service if it matters, we were only allowed to use US made vehicles.
Constant recalls, constant breakdowns, overall unreliable. These were all vehicles that were less than 5 years okd
I have a 2007 toyota today that refuses to die and has barely needed any work. I’ll probably have it at least another 3 to 5 years at this rate

A pat on the back is a cultural thing, it’s important to understand the differences between cultural expression and harassment.
It’s not to say that you have to be okay with it or that you are not allowed to state your discontent, it’s just these issues need to be handled in different ways.
A back pat can be handled in a “Hey John this is making some people uncomfortable please stop” way where true harassment should be handled in a “John you’re fired” kind of way.
Those are the ideal scenarios though, as we know people aren’t always fired for harassment.

Umm, no. We do it because we’re taught to from a young age. It’s considered necessary in certain social situations. I don’t even like them much myself, but I’ve found the older I get I will offer them up because I know that’s called for by the social scenario I’m in
If you feel this strongly about handshakes there are definitely many regions around the globe to avoid. Some places handshake an absurd amount.

Why do people keep pretending the Supreme Court always agrees with Trump. They’ve struck him down often and seem to be taking a very strict constitutionalist view. Most recent example would be the whole birthright citizenship ruling.
Obviously this court is terrible for many reasons, they gutted the voting rights act and ended Roe. But they’re not getting rid of juries their record is clear there

My grandfather after fighting in a few wars didn’t believe in PTSD. Called my Uncle’s PTSD bullshit. He said you have a couple of bad dreams then you get over it.

Unfortunately the archaeology disagrees with that. You also seem to be making these really broad statements encompassing a variety of cultures over 30,000 years.
The fact is Native American populations exploded and grew in “complexity” with the arrival of domesticated crops such as corn, beans, and squash. That’s when we saw permanent settlements develop across various cultures. Simply put they were able to feed more people and move less because they had more food. You see this pattern repeat over and over as these crops spread across cultures.
There’s a lot to breakdown here. Let’s start with “their” diet. Diets varied wildly culture to culture, region to region, and across time. The diets of the Mississippian culture of the Southeast looked radically different than the diets of the contemporary peoples of the Pacific Northwest. Even looking at contemporary groups in the southeast you see that people on the coast got most of their calories from marine sources, but you go inland and you see a huge increase in the reliance of corn.
The only groups I can think of hitting that 90% number would be the various cultures of the Plains, the Innuit, and mostly every group during the Paleo period (it was the ice age after all pre-domestic crops).
