• When I used Arch on my laptop, my computer would randomly refuse to boot up at random and I had to manually fix it by booting into the installation media. After switching to Cachy I’ve never had to do that. I don’t know what black magic Cachy had to fix that problem, but I’ve never switched back, lol

• If you just use VPNs to torrent stuff, then that’s fine. I’m just saying that if your threat model makes you a target to let’s just say the CCP for example, then coupling Proton’s suite with their VPN is a bad idea

• If you already use Proton Mail, I strongly recommend against using ProtonVPN because you’re coupling yourself too hard to Proton. At least, if your threat model is high risk

• Tbf, when it comes to email services at least, your only real alternative for Proton is Mailbox.org if you use IMAP/SMTP. When it comes to Mullvad, there’s plenty of VPNs as an alternative.
