Hey again, I hope you don’t mind a small update after a month:
It took ages for Apple to review my game, but now it’s on iOS!
Same deal as Android: Fully free, no ads, no in-app purchases (except a “Support the Developer” option), offline and zero data collection.
Of course it’s still on Google Play Store and also available as APK on Aurora (or wherever else you source your APKs).
I just released a new update for a better building mode to make decorating easier. Keep up-to-date at !wanderingalchemist@lemmy.zip

Looks interesting so far! Are the faces of the alchemists and NPCs inspired by Squid Games?
Admittedly, I’m not the target audience for this game, as I barely leave home and I live in a small town.
The bellows mini game doesn’t seem to respond to me well. I can barely get the fire lit before it goes out and my potion is done.
I’ll keep giving it a try! Maybe Ill move somewhere else. XD
Heh, I did see the resemblance. But no, I wanted to give players a bit of customization and that was my best idea :)
The game is fully playable wherever you are in the world, you could just go for a walk and collect things. It’s not like Pokemon Go where there’s more content in cities. Hell, the game would even work fine in Antarctica!
Plus after getting some currency you can even play on your couch (using the buffs and various buildings), though you make faster progress by walking.
For the bellows: Try wider movements, start your finger a bit further left (you can touch wherever you want) open the bellow wide and then close it fully again.
I think with thr bellows, it might be because I have a narrow phone. I feel like I dont have as good of control over that.
My phone is the Samsung Z Flip6. It’s about 1cm narrower than the average phone width (IE Pixel / OnePlus). It is also slightly taller, but the game works well with that!
