Small dev team got instantly rich as fuck and blatantly phoned the rest of the game in.
And I find it hard to blame them, although it is unfortunate how much potential they threw out the window. They could‘ve made much more money and a name for themselves if they just hired more people to do amazing stuff. Instead they took a year vacation or so. I got enough hours out of it to not really care, though.
