I haven’t been getting many ads, but I have been having trouble with webpages that break themselves when an ad element doesn’t load on the page. Urban dictionary comes to mind. Would love to hear if someone has a workaround for that
Not seeing them for uBlockOrigin Lite and I just checked the site expecting a break. What blocker on what device?
I’m using Wipr 2 on iOS. The error is an iframe timeout. A lot of recipie websites do it too, same error type which is definitely intentional because it directs you to disable Adblock.
Try installing UblockOriginLite (apps.apple.com/us/app/…/id6745342698) That should cover it like I’m seeing. If not try reporting it to the Wipr2 dev if you prefer that, she responds fast usually.

Until last year there was a major XSS vulnerability where anyone could write a definition that ran arbitrary JavaScript in the user’s browser upon loading
Definitions like this could show up in random search results
Use Wiktionary instead, it’s better anyway. 😉
