AccuWeather, National Weather Service add ‘Lake of America’ to its maps, forecasts
AccuWeather and the National Weather Service have begun using “Lake America” in forecasts and maps after an executive order directed the name change.
NWS probably has their hands tied. AccuWeather on the other hand is run by bootlickers. They’re deep enough in that sphere that Trump tried to put the CEO in as the head of NOAA during his first term. They’ve tried unsuccessfully lobbying to restrict NWS’s free forecasting (the one we all pay for) because it was interfering with their business model. I’ll leave the sexual harassment problems as an exercise for the reader. These are shitheads who were shitheads long before this. Don’t use that service.
