That whole arc where that supposed enby villain was revealed to just be woman trolling left such a sour taste. There was something else later that just confirmed things, but I don’t remember what exactly. They just genuinely didn’t seem to believe that enbies could actually exist, only binary trans people.
It kinda makes sense that they would believe something like that when you realize just how much 4chan lingo was casually used the entire time. It felt less like they were making fun of that culture, and more like that was just how they viewed the world
