In my experience, engines are mechanically great these days.
It’s all the extra electronics and resulting complexity on the computer side that is usually the culprit for any perceived reduction in reliability.

Yep! I am a mechanical engineer and manual machinist.
My experience with my own self hosting has led to my current added responsibility as IT for our 6 person startup. But 90% of my time is mechanical engineering.
Not trying to be difficult here, I don’t have a mathematical background.
How can an unverified, non-understood proof be used as foundational for any other work?
