Sorry, but this is assisted suicide and not what I meant. Here the persons decide for themselves that they don’t want to live anymore. It is not very much different than them jumping off a cliff.
The OP here is about parents deciding for their newborn suffering child which is not able to decide for themselves.

In Europe I don’t think so. Sometimes the trailers have spare tires on them.
Coaches do have spare tires (usually in the front, behind the license plate basically)

As it seams that nobody reads the article and is just jumping to conclusions…
This child was born very prematurely, at only 26 weeks of gestation. It quickly became apparent that the child had suffered severe brain damage, resulting in severe cerebral palsy and a visual impairment. This was compounded by frequent and severe epileptic seizures, which were largely unresponsive to medication. This left the child restless and unable to sleep for long periods. They also had mucus in their lungs, which made breathing and swallowing very difficult.
Given the cumulative effect of these conditions, it was clear that the child would not live to adulthood. The doctor also determined that their suffering could not be alleviated through medical treatment. The doctor and parents, therefore, decided to actively end the child’s life.
Now think about that. That is a child that was not supposed to be alive in the first place (26 weeks! A pregnancy is usually around 40 weeks). It is suffering. The most humane way forward (for the child) is to end it’s suffering.

12th Gen is definitively neat, but overkill for what you are doing. 8th or 9th gen is fine. 16gigs is fine, 8gig would also work
I really like the Lenovo m720q line of mini pcs (used/refurb) but they will not fit an hdd.
/edit: I mean an 3,5” HDD. They will fit one 2,5” HDD fine.

Sadly I don’t have all the sources right now because I looked it up this morning.
But here is a source for 5 billion for the year 2023. Here is a source for 3.3 billion for the year 2025
Here is another source that has multiple years (although I don’t know if it is trustworthy, but the numbers match with the others).
Also note that in addition to these dividends, mercedes Benz did buy back quite a lot of stock.
So money is really not an issue here.

Please.
Just look up how much dividends they have payed in the last few years alone (spoiler: it is almost 24 billion € since 2022). This is money that could have been spend innovating, improving and future proofing there vehicle line up.
The death of the combustion engine is nothing new, and yet all of the European car manufacturers hold onto it like it is their only hope.

In an ideal world, there are no states and no borders.
But in the world we live in, this is sadly not the case and we must stick to the rules that the people have agreed to. The rules in this case are, the people of Britain have voted to leave the EU and all its benefits, so these new rules must be followed.

Not a problem then. An obese person takes up more floor space, so less people can fit on a lift. Limiting the realistic load it has to carry.

It will still sync to all devices. And if you have an always on vpn to your home network, there really is no need to expose it to the public
+1 on the zfs replication. That’s what I use as well with a 3 node cluster. Gives redundancy and high availability without building a ceph cluster (which needs 4 nodes if I remember correctly)
