The saddest thing about billionaires is their lack of high quality, constructive hobbies. Where are the public gardens they’ve built, where is the community neighborhoods they’ve designed and founded? Where are the terraforming and farmland reclaimation projects they’ve done? Where are their great library wings, public water features, hospitals and healthcare systems.
They contribute nothing. I don’t want to see them dead, I just want to see them demoted to the lowest rungs of society.

Definitely true of data that needs to be tagged. Less true for text only data, which relies more on Markov chains.
Interestingly the article doesn’t make this point, instead claiming workers in the global south are “feeding the data in” and doing maintenance work daily. So perhaps it’s on about moderation?

They should put up a back up torrent of all the currently available models before transferring ownership. Thus opening the doors for future websites.
NVIDIA is probably trying to shutdown the LLM-at-home market (which means you don’t need huge clouds of graphics cards or even an Internet connection). Sad day for people who like to control their data.

Tobias Lütke’s net worth is over 12 billion, like all billionaires he won’t have an income. He’ll be buying assets at an inflated price then taking out bank loans against them - a process that inflates prices on things like realestate and land (because the more they pay the more they can borrow from the bank).
Billionaires do this to avoid income taxes. They want to be paid in stocks, assets, and live tax free off never ending bank loans. He’ll they’ll buy media companies just to borrow against them, they’ll buy lobbying companies… And they’ll use them to make society worse (on top of the inflation they create).
…and the increased roads, infrastructure, costs to the community? Who covers their tax burden? That hole in the tax system? They use tax loopholes, so YOU cover their tax burdens. YOU do.
