• My concern is that people like you will end up being something called “a responsibility sink” where you’re expected review and understand more lines of code than is reasonable and when the company gets in trouble they’ll throw ol’ MirrorGiraffe directly under the bus. To me it’s pretty dumb, people were already forking projects they didn’t understand to stand up their own projects, let’s just go back to they and not add extra steps.

• What makes me sad is how it’s an IQ test. If using AI makes you feel like you’re becoming a better coder, what do you think is cheaper for Anthropic or OpenAI, to make you feel something or to actually do something? Same business model as Fox News: don’t actually inform people, just make them feel informed. Much cheaper and sells like hotcakes.

• How? I specifically say I like that he doesn’t do those things. I didn’t say Trump’s name because his scumminess proceeds him. There’s literally no one as disgusting as Trump and the fact they go after a person who does something as pedestrian as pay a sex-worker when they back the best friend Epstein ever had just makes me draw the comparison. I worded it that way to draw the direct comparison, so I’m okay with it being a little ambiguous (though pretty clear imho).
