• Agreed. However, the concept of decreasing this anthropomorphization as much a spossiblr is really helpful. All these crappy articles about AI acting like some sort of nefarious human misdirects the real concerns and is just media fodder for click bait news outlets (which is pretty much all news outlets now). I genuinely think it’s a more news is good news for the AI companies.

• I used to neatly coil and velcro strap all of these. Seems like there was a time where I’d sometimes use them. Now it’s all madness and a usb cord isn’t trustworthy at all as far as how much charge it can carry or data rate etc. More and more I just through out anything that isn’t especially high quality. I don’t like that, but it only adds to the chaos to keep everything.

• Feel a bit dumb saying this since it’s apparently been around 30years but I’ve never heard of this.

  Any comments on the user experience? Before you tell me to just install Linux, I have on some of my systems but I have a lot of specialty peripherals and work software that I’ve never been able to get to run properly on Linux distros on my main desktop and the laptop experience still feels like a compromise to me.

  What are some downsides of using this over windows?
