It shows volume, not density.
The amount of displaced water is the same for a lead sphere and a balloon of the same size.
You can the also calculate the density if you measure how mich of the object is submerged

This tech pops up in the news every now and then and it had this exact problem since the very first iteration. They won’t suddenly fix this now when they couldn’t in the last 8 months.

Even etsy creators advertise their more profitable products instead of things that barely sell. Apart from the top banner on the store page everything steam advertises is based on demand, calculated by sales numbers and whishlists, and relevance to your library.
Even decentralized platforms like Lemmy operate under this exact principal, a decentralised gamestore would show you the same games as steam does.
If you want to see everything, you are free to set your steam store to new releases. Have fun sifting trough hundreds of cash grabs and “garbage” first time passion projects to find a single interesting game.

It isn’t too surprising that some things get routed over general domains that the company already owns. Probably the facebook domain since they bought WhatsApp way before they rebranded to meta.
This for once isn’t anything malicious. Dunno if I would call it best practice, but they probably don’t intend to unbundle WhatsApp in the near future.

Educational entertainment, also referred to by the portmanteau edutainment
The word has been around since 1973 and is included in many dictionaries. If you want to correct someone, at least inform yourself beforehand.
A lot of the intelligent people know full well the reason why, but that doesn’t matter as long as the old and senile generation keeps voting for the greedy bastards that created most of our problems in the first place.
