Yeah, I would imagine most classes would concentrate on supporting headless server systems over learning any particular gui. They’re more the kind of thing meant to be put on a job application than to teach for personal use.

LGs will find nearby wifi that will let them on to phone home. It doesn’t matter if your own network is locked down. And if they’re doing it, it’s likely others are as well.

That wasn’t always true. The RIAA sued many people over music downloads (via bittorent since they’re technically hosting at the same time as downloading). They only stopped once the major studios figured out it would cost less to force the ISPs to do it for them.

I wonder how long that will still be the case? The more of the mental load you pawn off on the chatbot, the less your brain will prioritize retaining it.
It’s like when you spend years only speaking a second language you’re fluent in, it can be hard to switch back to your native tongue when you need to.

That’s because the answers to hard problems show up often in the training data, whereas simple problems might not ever make it to any documentation since the solution just takes reasoning from what’s in the manual.

It helps if they actually have to use the crap code they vibe out. They can no longer yell at the nearest dev that their impossible requirement isn’t working. So there’s less pushback against bringing back their convenient scapegoats.

It’s just too bad more people don’t understand that their role on a Grand Jury is to be adversarial to the one trying to bring the case.
