I’m pretty sure this is wrong. Like obviously it’s a bad thing that they are making it harder to distribute apps through 3rd parties but they aren’t stopping you from sideloading unsigned apps. They are introducing an additional step to unlock your phone to allow unsigned apps. Yes it is annoying and no I do not agree with what they are doing. But they are not removing unsigned app support from all android devices.
The new step will be deciding how long you wish to allow unsigned apps to be installable on your device (either 7 days or indefinitely) and then it requires you to wait 24 hours before you can start to install apps without Google developer signing.
These rules do suck, and it is a bad thing, but lying or exaggerating what is happening will not make them reverse course. It only justifies them when they say “it’s not that bad and it’s for your protection.”

I just use the native docker apps that truenas has preconfigured. The one time I needed a custom compose container I just bashed my face against the keyboard until it worked. This is how I feel about all containerization. There really should be an easier system. Nothing wrong with higher accessibility.

How do you decide what qualifies for the community dividend? Does every publisher get an amount from the dividend? Is the dividend a pool of earnings that has to be split evenly? Are there devs that don’t qualify for the dividend? Is it because they make too much money? Or because the thing they created is ai slop uploaded specifically to syphon free money away from the dividend? You either have very wealthy devs taking from the pool or you have people who shouldn’t be allowed to call themselves devs taking money from the pool, either way it’s unfair to the devs who poured their heart and soul into a project nobody heard of.

Microsoft does only once a month sure, but OEM vendors push firmware, drivers, and BIOS updates through Windows update whenever they want. Windows is not the only thing that requires updating.

Update your Windows PC weekly and reboot once a week and that will resolve 90% or more of your issues. Updates are frequent, delaying the install can cause several problems. 1.5 months since last update is regularly an issue even in the enterprise space.
Not saying that is acceptable to most people. But best practice is to allow updates and to apply them at least once a week.
You can be a furry and you can be sexual but being a furry is not inherently sexual. Rule 34, there is porn of everything. Even normal ass humans doin it mish style. If you see furries and your first thought is sex, you might actually have a fetish lol.
