• I am working on a C++ project. How can I use cmake/makefile to scan modules/*.hpp files and add case statements in src/controller.cpp. The imported modules would also add a value into .hpp file containing enum with all of the module names.

• For me I feel bad from both masculine pronouns and feminine pronouns, but the latter is because I don’t trust cishet people that they understand me. Honestly I just wish I could forget my mother tongue and only speak English. It’s so hard to avoid gendered verbs and I can’t ask others to do so as well as it is sometimes downright impossible in a reasonable time frame. So I would avoid gendered stuff early and scale it with confidence/presentation and time. It’s different getting called a girl when trying out a fabulous dress and when you look like shit after waking up early in transition. But that might be because I have trust issues and there is no way in hell I would give my family my pure feelings, because they’ve proven to be a bit shit.

• Because non technical people don’t go by that definition. When a person says algorithm they either mean this or black magic machine learned model giving results based on a massive amounts of data. Not if else statements. I’ve said at the start that either everything is an algorithm or this argument is pointless. They continued arguing, so I assumed they weren’t saying: oh yes, this floor is made out of floor.

• I don’t. I would just be shifting trust from my ISP to some VPN provider for worse ping. I trust only I2P and Tor networks, so either it’s sensitive enough to go over darknet or I treat it as public.

• There is not much context. It’s dialogue from Deltarune when our main character Kris looks into a mirror. It could be interpreted in different ways as MC is non-binary, uses they/them pronouns and is a prison cage for us the player. It could be simple typical weird phrasing of Tobyfox, Kris’ discomfort with their body both regarding gender identity, and losing agency over their own life because of us as a mere puppet.

• It might as well be. My sister has a better hardware than me and it takes on her Device like half a minute to load the start menu on first try. On my CachyOS it takes idk. I can’t distinguish that well regarding fractions of a second.

• When I used to be on windows it was a bit of pain to install Firefox via WSL2. I probably had to install like X11 while at it. I also installed modded Minecraft. It ran fabulously at 2 FPS v 1.4.7

  Addition after like 2 minutes after posting: I’ve noticed the one who responded was an original comment. My assumption of what you’ve said was then incorrect. In that case only thing I want to mention is that most leftists are still normal people who don’t spend their time boycotting every evil company. Should they? Yes. If we were to count only the most radical boycotters as leftists then our movement would shrink to less than Desktop Linux % presence.

• Because he got banned from Twitter before Musk has bought it. The original comment condemns Hasan for using Twitch, which I am assuming was intended as bad for using at all. Your example is somebody who uses multiple platforms, which hasn’t cut off the part of his base that refuses to follow him to Truthsocial. It also has an advantage of moving his most loyal cultists to a different platform, where he can feed them propaganda without having to worry as much about scaring off potential moderate republicans. Oh and the chicken and an egg problem. Trump solved it by buying chickens and other power given to him by an insane amount of capital.

• I have a problem like this with accents. When I went to highschool it took me a long time to finally understand a guy whose parents are vietnamese. It was definitely 100% grammatically correct with more or less local accent, but the distinction took me embarrassingly too long to learn gradually.

• Something similar happened to me when I was scheduling my dentist appointment from my mother’s phone (I ran out of credit in January). I have said like 3 times that I am X and they kept on talking to me in third person. I am not sure if they were deaf, dense, or over worked but I will take it despite looking like somebody who needs their mom for a dentist appointment at 21
