absolutely at all time. I can’t say that I see many captchas. I think the last one was for some site I used a couple weeks back that used google recaptcha. it’s pretty rare for me to see one.

there’s loads of things you can do with it, but arguably one of the best is making it a media PC. if you sail the high seas, then a full Servarr stack is really nice to have.

I use nano just because it’s the one that’s usually installed. if it was usually Vim, I would use that instead.
a better option that doesn’t require specific steps depending on your TV model is just to use a small media PC strapped to the back. and then disable network access for the TV. the benefit of this is that when you buy a new PC, you don’t have to do any research to find out which ones you can jailbreak, because any TV works.
you can then control the media PC with a cheap Bluetooth keyboard/touchpad combo. there are plenty of models available that are no bigger than a large remote and have excellent battery life.
