That’s been the talk track since back on VHS. Apparently copying that tape from Block Buster went straight into buying drugs and weapons.

For work. I try to match the same color combos, so mostly blue or green and khaki and brown.
My one pair of black dress pants fuck everything up.
Off the clock is random shit I find at thrift stores. Half of them have weird stains from the previous owner I can’t get out. So I look like the guy that security comes up to and asks “Sir, are you lost?”

It gets to keep 25% of the bugs he catches. You get to eat the other 75%.
Any changes to the web will void it’s deposit and you get to eat 500 of it’s bugs to repair any damage.
Utilities are not included. There will be a 5 bug charge for each droplet of water it drinks from the faucet. Even though it lives near WiFi, there is a hookup fee and monthly cost of 25 bugs.
If it is late on monthly bug payments for more that 1-week. You get to eat it’s web and all the bugs. The spider will be taken outside on a paper towel or in a cup and left on the nearest leaf.
Implement those and you’ll eat like a king!

My shoes get worn down similarly because I have high arches and long ass toes, “tingers”. The middle arch never touches the ground.
Finding the right shoes suck ass. I’ll get holes in the top and bottom of the front unless I have proper arch support.
Plus side I’m very silent when I walk because there is less contact. So I’ve spent a lifetime scaring the shit out of people on accident.

I used to agree, but that’s not how this works anymore unfortunately. The problem with this and many other things local government is doing, like the data center craze.
They are steamrolling the communities it affects. If they even hold town halls to voice concern. The intent is not to listen, it’s to pacify the community and talk over them.
Yes we can vote them out, but corruption runs deep. Community leaders are more concerned about wealth and false security than the people they represent. Once they are out their like minded friends fill the gap, with enough false promises to take the seat. If the new additions don’t participate with the big players, local corporations and CEOs. The ones these politicians feel are revenue streams and hefty tax payers. They get walked over or denied higher positions.
This is turning into a situation that requires strong reactions. We the people are seen as statistics and nuisances to what the more powerful see as progress. The progress they want benefits a small percentage and does not represent the masses. They are forgetting who matters.
Thanks for making me remember old scars.
