Tell us: What, specific regulations would you be looking for?
I want people to have the ability to walk down the street without some fuckass with a camera, hidden or otherwise taking a live recording of them without thwir explicit consent, FOR ANY REASON.
Thats it.
It was bad enough when these people would walk around waving their phone cameras at everything while they were tourists or wanna be ‘influencers’, now these companies are making it harder to pick them out of the crowd (though those glasses are very distinctly ugly)

Im not scoffing at efficiency, my issue is with the technology being paid for - the one that’s actively being used to ruin the planet, destroying old single edition books because they’re untainted by the slop bein pushed out, not to mention how it’s being used to spread misinformation, propaganda, mass surveillance, security threat level code, scams, and of course deepfakes of everyone from children to politicians.

Im assuming by that you mean ‘if the people took issue with it’, not ‘if there was a cultural problem of pedo shit’ (not trying to argue semantics, I do agree that there is 100% a cultural problem with normalising that kind of thing)

Absolute peak game that doesn’t really have any contemporaries.
A game with base management, fully open map, random events ranging from spooky to hilarious, minigames to fix equipment, little robot helpers, big robot helpers that require some assembly, but don’t need charging thanks to running on nuclear power, and a quadbike you can backflip.
And the Christmas gun.

The difference is that there are people who train very specifically to know exactly how the inside of the car works, and they’re legally liable for the state of how said car works after they work on it.
If your engine blows up after a service, you blame the mechanic, if it blows up after you bought it bew you blame the manufacturer.
If your slop bot goes rogue and starts giving your personal details out to people it shouldn’t when all you did is ask it to make a picture of a cat in a stetson, or in the case of grok, generates csam as part of its regular functions, what else do you do but blame the company that created it?
