• I am going to throw my thoughts in. Spiderman is as good as Arkham City, and I think it depends on which super hero you prefer.

  From a game standpoint, they are very close to each other, I think batman has slightly better stealth, but Spiderman has better traversal. Combat is good enough in both to give you enough room to be expressive if you want, and the open world fluff is mostly not insulting (maybe not those riddler trophies though).

  Both are good 8/10 games.

  But everything thing I have seen about Wolverine is at best fine, and then you just have the Devs insulting the players and their intelligence.

  I am surprised wolverine is getting scores as high as it is, but from a glance and an outside point of view, I am offering a 4 or 5/10.

  And one last note, Arkham Asylum is better than City, the more intricate level design is better than an open world.

• I will say the point, it is an extension of your phone essentially. A very expensive, pointless, and ultimately creepy extension.

  It’s like buying a smart watch, so you can ask it stuff, and not use anything else it can do. When your phone can probably still listen to you perfectly fine.

• I don’t think free to play would have made any real difference to Concord (highguard says hi).

  At the time of announcement, I was in a discord call, and I would say 9 or 10 people were interested at the cinematic trailer, when they had missed it being a multiplayer game, and they assumed it was a action RPG/ space opera.

  Everyone who had any inclination of excitement, lost it immediately at the gameplay trailer.

  They honestly didn’t care for another multiplayer game, especially with Marvel Rivals having been played and looking better around then as well.

• I think I am biased as I don’t have a ps5, and Sony is definitely on a crusade at the moment. But I really like Spiderman and Miles Morales, and enjoy Spiderman 2 albeit not as much.

  However, Wolverine just never stood out from what I had seen briefly, then I saw the sentinel fight. That looked beyond shit, like gameplay had regressed 20 years or more.

  I think that was the point I expected it to be bad, even if it is not completely terrible on the combat side.

• It’s a shame, because they have been involved in some great games. Especially early on, with games like time shift and inversion (being pretty good lower budget games), and then World War Z and leading into Space Marine 2 with their fun horde tech.

  Their stance here though is the nail in the coffin though, well maybe shotgun to the feet. Will steer clear of them now.

• Also to add on to this, while we are in a cost of living crisis, that doesn’t mean people can’t save money towards purchases like this either. If you started putting back 5 or 10 a month since it was announced you’d have plenty saved, especially with the delays.

  I don’t think it’s a good idea considering we haven’t seen anything yet, but I am not their audience.

• I see a lot of people saying everyone is mad, but can’t say I have really seen many (or any), actually mad.

  I have seen a lot of disappointment and indifference. From the people who had put rockstar on some pedestal it’s mostly disappointment as they can’t believe they would be that scummy. For others not hyped, its an advert.

  I am a little surprised, but not shocked they would stoop to getting paid for it. But I am much closer to anti rockstar these days, and have no interest in gta6 anymore.
