  In Arizona, the State Mine Inspector is an elected position. In the 2014 election Joe Hart was running for re-election and had no real opposition, so a parody candidate ran this being Ian Kobe, who ran on an anti-Dracula campaign. The last time I saw this, people said this was in reference to vampire bats, but I believe they were part of the pro-Dracula lobby. A article about the election
