• I feel like all the add ons water down the message of unity. Instead of gathering for battle under a single flag we bitch and moan about what colours should be in which order.

• The falcon 9 absolutely did cut the balls off of cost to orbit. Once they cleared the backlog of launches that had built up due to the cost and slow turnaround they had nothing to launch. Starlink is their main customer and without them the Falcon 9 architecture doesn’t have the cadence required to be profitable. Starship is the new solution in need of a problem, so what’s the problem? Data centers in space! I think they’re right up against the rocket equation with starship and they’re counting on trimming the fat to make it work. We’ll see which dies first, physics or finances.

• I work on boats but got the same advice. Often the wife sits to the side and I try to draw her into the conversation and ask her opinion.

  My wife gave me the advice as she always points out when I’m talking to someone and they don’t look at her. To be fair, it often happens to me when she’s talking to people, and I’m glad I was made aware of how rude it is.
