Not everyone does the same development process as you.
And I’m sure we all work at places that allow us to change the entire tech stack and switch away from teams /s

It’s for the entire district, and the costs don’t seem that high to me.
14000 slots for students means it’s $12.86 per student over (typically) 20 years…
$0.64 per student per year seems reasonable.

Microcenter or some similar physical store is probably your own hope. They run pretty decent deals to bring you into the store.
I’d recommend visiting one for Black Friday/cyber Monday. It’s probably your only hope for things not to be ridiculously overpriced. Instead you’ll just pay for very overpriced items.
I’ve added this as one of my interview questions for people who clearly use AI.
“How has mentoring junior engineers changed since the advent of AI? How do you guide juniors to ensure they are still learning, even if they want to use AI heavily?”
It’s a good way to ask if they like AI slop or not without asking the question directly
