Brazilian here, if it starts with Futebol Clube then it’s most probably from Portugal (like Futebol Clube do Porto). Our teams usually have it at the end (São Paulo Futebol Clube, Santos Futebol Clube, Guarani Futebol Clube, etc, I don’t know any that starts with FC)

No worries, these “edgy” things are all 18+ by American standards already, American Boomers championed MPAA and ESRB ratings, Parental Advisory stickers, Satanic Panic and everything, they saw that the lack of media control in their generation had led to people rejecting societal norms, growing their hair and protesting against war so they didn’t want it for next generations, and talking about Ghibli, I actually saw adults discussing how inappropriate My Neighbor Totoro was for kids because of the bath scene… my take is that American culture is neurotically moralistic and we already got a whole generation of young adults raised the way you mentioned with the Big Tech oversight over content, who globalized that standard… I call it the eggshell generation, where you have to always be cautious about what you say because actual adults behave like children and thrown tantrums, and even just words like rape and suicide are needing warnings for being too intense.

How could I tell I’m not the mind clone, though? What if what we consider to be the past is just data we were fed, and the reason we have so many gaps in memory is because they only fed enough to result in the personality they wanted while real humans remember everything they went through, and the reason our memory is so unreliable is because it was stored as text to save storage, and every time we try to access it, the images are recreated through generative models and discarded afterwards, always rendering a slightly different result?

what annoys me is that he is shown as this super genius with omega level deductions and impossible predictions, but deus ex machina apart, he is actually mediocre and his sense of justice is pretty much guided by television.

His world didn’t have any less corporate and government corruption than ours, but he still just targeted petty criminals instead of warlords and world leaders… he cared more about punishing pickpockets than CEOs that would willingly be poisoning entire communities to save money… so why would he care about Epstein files? I bet he would be all like “wait there, we can’t just be jumping to conclusions, just because someone’s name is in there doesn’t mean they did anything wrong, we can’t just slander them blah blah blah”.
The character is portrayed like a super genius, but his vision of the world is basically that of your average police news TV host… what I believe Light would have really like is, after watching in the news someone saying antifa is a terrorist organization, is getting his hands on a police list of “antifa members” -
