100%. I have the same shirt in a few different colors and a few pairs of pants that are basically the same. Just rotate through those all week for days I need to go outside, otherwise its pair of comfy pants / shorts and and old version of one of those same shirts from above.

I didn’t say it was going to be easy at all, its going to be hard, but with some conviction in the values / morals informing your reason for protest its actually easy after that initial week is over.
Edit: its also infinitely easier to enact change like this in your own life than to smash a grand slam with a “government takeover.”. Not saying that wouldn’t be great, but let’s start with the things we have control over.
Also, you can just do both; vote and boycott…

We need to collectively abandon tech that insists on any of this. I post about this often, but I’ll say it again: this will come with discomfort; you need to be okay with that temporarily.
These ghouls cannot withstand weeks / months of boycott. They simply can’t, daddy earning reports and the shareholders won’t allow it.

Where is the “hue hue people have cameras in their phone and you have no problem with that, checkmate” guy…I know you’re in here.
The Instagram part of the story perfectly highlights the difference. Busting out a camera to start filming the entire date so I can make a highlight reel later is way more conspicuous than simply wearing my glasses. One leads to a discussion while the other is inconspicuous and likely never had consent in the first place.

Sad really. Been a PlayStation fan since I was a kid. PS1 on Christmas w/ Metal Gear Solid is easily one of my favorite core memories. As with everything else in modern era, these companies have really lost their bearing and the spark / soul that made them cherished through most of our lifetimes.
I’ve switched to PC gaming long ago so I’m not really in their target audience anymore, but when the day comes that I want a machine for the living room it’ll certainly not be a PS.

Oh for sure, I’m saying just out of the box the amount of tinkering is above what most would consider use friendly. My hyprland setup has a GUI and its very intuitive, but they dont all have that.
