This may not be useful and perhaps I am in far too comfortable of a position myself at this point.
What I had to learn is that there’s no easy way and no simple order to those things. Talking to people, like public speaking or anything worth doing for that matter is a skill too and you will get better with practice.
Connecting with people is hard, especially when you’re not quite comfortable with yourself. But you learn as you go. What I can tell you is that isolation will not help you grow.
The mistake I once made was in thinking that I’d need someone else to save me. But no one person can do that.
Treat your mind like you would your body. It too can get injured and need time to heal, but can also become stronger and more resilient.
