No, what I’m suggesting is the splitting the atom has eventually lead to using nuclear power as a massive source of energy that has powered countries all over the world. I feel as though AI already is already a knife dangling over humanities head, but I hope and believe that it will mostly be used for good and not as a threat to a proxy war or continually enriching the already rich.

Usable quantum computing will annihilate the need for these data centres. They’ll be defunct within a decade. The earth will be worse off and the money laundering that they provide will move elsewhere. Fuck this timeline.

Mercedes will apparently be introducing SS batteries (not to be confused with the SS from Nazi Germany) in 2030. Not too far in the grand scheme of things. Then 2 or 3 years after that every car will have them unless China jumps the gun.
