• the problem is people are so addicted to it, at least in my province. They don’t want to hear about any alternative that would require the smallest effort. In the 80’s, Dead Kennedys made an album called “Give me convenience or give me death”. I took me decades to realize how accurate this title was for depicting the world we live in.

• Doesn’t beat this show on a small local radio station in my town, that had a theme music with someone saying “audio jungle” every 20 seconds because they downloaded the demo from that site and never bothered to pay 5$ for the full version. I was selling stuff on audio jungle at that time, and had to stop on the side of the road cause I couldn’t stop laughing.

• I mean, your phone isn’t constantly pointing his cameras at other people’s face and using meta’s database to gather information on the people you’re filming, that’s already a big difference.

  Then you have different options to deGAFAM your phones. I personalky use graphene but I get most people are not there yet.

  Don’t get me wrong, phones are obviously the most common spying devices out there, but jt’s definitely not to the level of these dystopian glasses.

• I just got a pixel 9 refurbished for 350CAD and, a part from the irony of needing a phone made by google to have a degoogled phone, Graphene is a great OS. It just does what any basic phone os should do, and that’s make it gold in the current dystopia.
