I kept hearing about that betrayal thing and its some minor election on the other side of the globe, so pardon me for not knowing or caring about the details, but what is Hasan’s political project for if he’s not gonna help people like El Sayed get elected? (He loves aesthetics of revolution, but I’ll eat a shoe if he actually helps make one happen) There is nothing that stops him from supporting figures that publically disavow him apart from ego, is there? What even is the point of him being a part of the campaign?

Its serviceable. A lot of it is shallow, finding new creatures, new planets often makes you see the same thing youve already seen with the details changed a bit. But some places genuinely felt special - Ive seen a worm the size of my frigate once, and only once. That’s the kind of weird shit I want in every exploration game. The story I expected to be an afterthought, but damn, its straight up pretty decent. Can’t speak for any of the people who supported the kickstarter, it really sucked for them and they have a right to not be satisfied, but I absolutely got a very enjoyable experience out of it. There are better games that I enjoyed much much less

Damn in the techno ones there’s two that make any sense to me, and even then circuit board green I’d know is lighter. I mean, you can make it any color you want, Ive seen dark blue and red, a lot of older tech used a light brown but that’s not as iconic these days

Who says you aren’t allowed to take pleasure? Id say half of the jokes about it were bad and a lot of the better ones got very stale after a week of me seeing them non stop, but that’s a different thing. Yes his death was deeply ironic and the killer had a hell of a timing. But still, the way that people who supposedly loved him reacted feels so tragic to me, by trying to uphold his legacy they were so reckless it was them that made him into a parody. Regardless of what he deserved, if he was unambiguously hated by everyone, he would stay a person

I don’t wish anybody to be memorized the way Kirk fans immortalized him. I don’t even see the small face joke anymore, and that would feel less insulting if it were to happen to me
I mean, of course it is about his self interest too, that isn’t inherently something wrong, I just hope he would rethink his priorities
