• Right? They should have treated him like those big name directors making avant-garde movies, even if the game takes years to make and doesn’t sell well, you are still bringing prestige to your platform just by having them.

  Focusing on live service instead makes them closer to mobile games market, where you have a lot of money but very little respect.

• I’m surprised no one mentioned it yet, but Kitten Space Agency

  It’s a free spiritual successor to Kerbal Space Program that tries to be everything that KSP2 wasn’t. It’s still in early development by its progressing fast and it already looks great and allows you to do a lot of cool things, and it’s also built using their own engine instead of Unity and has modding support.

  And it’s not on steam.

• It makes sense though, people who would preorder a game several months before it comes out would be big enough fans to get the expensive edition. Regular people are not buying any game before launch, expensive or not
