The Linke is very present on social media too. I remember watching Deutsche Welle English and they compared the number of accounts and number of followers for each party in the German parliament and The Linke was not that far behind AfD. The problem is that the platforms they are on are owned by uberwealthy, right-wing billionaires.
We need a #WealthTax and for more people on the fediverse where companies don't control the algorithms and surface right-wing stuff all the time.

I don't read German... but maybe define "social contributions". Do you mean contributions that workers and employers pay to fund the safety net?
VAT has a function. Are you pleading for it to be lowered for everybody?
And your point 3 is already in what I said "They should get rid of the income tax and just have a wealth tax.". Are the measures you're suggesting in addition to what I said or place of it?

They should get rid of the income tax and just have a wealth tax. And also a national gains tax for companies: you make money in the country = you pay tax on that money in the country you made it. Then companies like Goolag and Macroslop can't just send the money to another country and pay taxes there.
But social contributions... nah. That has to stay. That's definitely worth it. Just because you're a small business doesn't mean your employees should work in precarious conditions.

Starting is easy. Getting help in the long run is much much harder and costly. You basically need to have connections and a good amount of money stashed up before doing anything, which limits the amount of people who can even start a business substantially.
Edit: this video is for existing businesses aiming to grow, not for real startups from small people.

I bet it's his party too. It's the same in every EU country: some centre-right party sleepwalked into the disaster while protecting their rich and wealth buddies. Now all of sudden they notice that the US and Russia have been influencing their populations, and they are surprised that the votership they tried so hard to dumb down and control, are being controlled by somebody else.

#TaxWealth #TaxWealthNotWork it's quite simple actually.
The uber-wealthy own too much and are forcing us to subscribe for its usage for higher and higher prices while they buy up more and more. If we don't tax their wealth, the cycle will continue.

Europe has been doing the minimum to support Ukraine. Where are the Taurus missiles? Why is Europe still buying Russian gas? Why hasn't Europe been boarding and stopping Russian shadow fleet tankers since the beginning of the war? Why did Europe lift the restrictions on the range of their weapons until Ukraine has built the tech themselves? What were the feeble responses to Russian interference and drones far in European airspace? Why are we still letting in Russians at our borders?
I could go on. The European strategy seems to be to keep the war going as long as possible in order to test new war tech at the expense of human lives. Our rulers are just hiding behind "oh, we spent billions" while forcing Ukraine to fight with an arm tied behind their backs.
