I honestly can’t tell, in the UK calling power electric is common, so this doesn’t sound that far off. On the other hand, I wouldn’t put it past ladbible to publish ai slop or ai assisted articles.

The AT Protocol was open from the start. It’s not the issue and is actually rather clever in parts, in my limited understanding.

The issue has more been that there was no way to run another server than the main one at first, and then that you could but it couldn’t interoperate. I understand this is now something of the past, but I don’t think I’ve ever come across a link to a bluesky post that wasn’t on bsky.app.

Looking a bit into it, it looks like all you need to do is host a Personal Data Server (PDS): github.com/bluesky-social/pds?tab=readme-ov-file#…
