my real world experience is both Microsoft win 10 and win 11 having massive impacting bugs since January

even if you personally use it right that says nothing about these massive corporations
also im not anti ai as a concept but anti ai because tech bros are the fucking anti christ
i know for a fact in the coding sphere i operate in there are people coding via agent -> agent in multi chains
that shit is terrifying given the field i work in

i trust no business to use ai coding properly, they cut so many corners in crunch already that pure unfiltered slop will for sure end up committed
we already see this with microslop windows 11 updates
it is even worse that many coders think it makes them better at their jobs because given how many issues pop up with factual ai use elsewhere i am sure no one rational expects coding to be exempt from this problem, so the least knowledgeable will be the most impacted with false assurance or worse we have other agents validating agent generated code that never has human eyeballs on it
slop-centipede of shit code
the biggest coding bugs either fail silently or succeed incorrectly and ai usage makes both of these worse

i don’t have an example but one of the the privacy blogs i watch had numerous examples of even eu websites that were in violation and there being no consequences (i think it was ben jordan)
mostly it was around the pop up not properly following the requirement but in some cases there just wasn’t one
now this was older so maybe they’ve since fixed themselves but this was after like a year or two of the requirement going into enactment so it wasnt an accident they were not in compliance

the hang up for me is more the not caring about time to compute
aeroish is my experience, and for me those have all cared about time to compute
generally that’s one of the biggest constraints to the point of being super strict
like major money being spent on modeled approximations and processing speed costs eclipsing pretty much everything on the design side
tables for weather, angles, altitude, position this would be tiny compared to some we’re using
30 year old equipment is even more taxed given the likely feature creep in my experience
