As i understand it (sorry couldnt quickly find a good source soo take with salt grains) prog generally works better with the boof method(didnt think id type that today 😂) and there is oral doses but theyre far more ineffective. As i recall there isnt a shot you can take of prog.
(Someone please correct me if im wrong lol)

Edit: if you have adhesive remover itll be painful but you could get it off. If you dont have anything, especially on the mtf side, might warrant a visit to the hospital 😨
