This is the answer. My Samsung “smart tv” doesn’t know WiFi exists. A separate box for all the smart apps, that too blocked from accessing most tracking networks using NextDNS.

Allow the JavaScript, block the API calls at the DNS level. I use NextDNS but you can use PiHole.

Yes. I’m lazy and watch a lot of YouTube. I cannot deal with ads.
That said, I have prime video through Amazon prime and it asks for, like, $4 per month to skip ads. I stopped watching prime video because of this.

See if you can use ZeroTier. It doesn’t use wire guard but rather their own protocol as far as I know.

I can imagine a big wall of these, or the next varietal, illuminating a space and making oxygen as well. Maybe not street lights, but definitely night lighting in buildings.
Hmm. Maybe install a pihole sort of setup (or NextDNS) and observe the traffic first. And are you asking about API calls in general or something specific?
