it’s so odd that AI needs nuances like this in the western world – it feels like we’re avoiding addressing how AI is being used to fuck things over for the rich in the west and i suspect it’s because we don’t want to address how it’s being used in the east and leading AI to being embraced as a result.

i wonder if this a majority of us – everyone has different skill levels with a huge majority of us having the needful basics to be turned into a critical mass.
the only problem i can foresee is that a huge majority in this space are either liberal or libertarian – which history proves are easily co-optible or are already aligned by the same epstein class that wants the flock cameras.

back in the late augts the data broker i worked for only used a tiny fraction out of all the scraped data because they didn’t want to spend all the money of data engineer salaries. i bet AI has ramped it into unthinkable overdrive.

why not use one of the several mozilla forks that do not include AI or telemetry – they’re all just as mature as firefox itself since that’s their starting base and address your concern about shipping in a reasonable amount of time.
normally it wouldn’t matter, but google has already demonstrated that they want to use their chromium leverage to bend the world to its will w ublock origin so adding to the clusterfuck should be an automatic response.

This can be helpful to block devices like your “dumb TV” through the firewall. You can block them via their MAC address.
this is brilliant!!! it’s like a poor man’s vlan.

they saw social media accidentally promoting the popularity of protests in mexico back 2017 resulting in mexicans breaking their political duopoly while leading to them electing a president that’s hostile to the epstein class and it scared tf out of them – it made the insurance rates shoot through the roof and now iran is leveraging this same tactic to bring the us empire to its knees.

People tend to use the “+” sign in order to identify if they address was sold, for example signing up with “michael.john+amazon@gmail.com”, now what most do not realize is the fact that when selling data to third parties, most companies parse their email lists and clear our those “+” sign. (Source: I have worked with companies that do that)
same here and it always felt like this useless tidbit was intentionally fed to the public.

the video is positing that tor is being leveraged as a honeypot – meaning that they’re aware that you’re buying your darkweb services and it will never become an issue so long as they don’t need something from you.
it seems feasible since there’s plenty of precedent for it – nearly have of all websites that carried known csam materials were honeypots at one point

i use firefox’s container tabs feature heavily and minimize instagram/facebook as much as possible.
i suspect that google was the one that leaked my information on this brand new device because i put google voice on it and the entire world knows me from that number instead of any of the multitudes of ephemeral phone numbers i use from the carriers in this country.
i never shared any of those numbers with instagram, but i suspect that they’re getting it from google nevertheless.
my management wants us to do this using ansible tower (i refuse to t call it the ansible automation platform) and the test cases we setup with it auto repairing systemd configurations and restarting it until it works the way we need it to are working REALLY well.
