  That’s what this is all about.

  Morocco and Turkey both have culture, economic and political incompatibilities with the EU that Canada has avoided itself.

  Turkey could have become a member, but their president takes the country further away from that course.

  If a country meets the eu requirements what does it matter where it’s situated.

  A vote is required. The location does matter if that’s the opinion the member states that will reject a proposal to have a country join the EU.

  Greenland even left the European Economic Community in 1985.

  Nowadays people are getting more and more interested in EU membership, perhaps that will come one day. But even though Greenland is not part of the EU, the people are EU citizens.

• There is no issue with systemd. It has been a huge improvement over what was there and it is still improving.

  It makes the system consistent without having to configure it using arcane shell scripts. It gives you easy to read config files. It just makes the administrator’s life easier.

• Yes, fascists will go for more and more targets until they control everything.

  Just look at the German fascism 1933 to 1945: First they targeted jews, then they were after more and more minorities and at some point everyone was in danger. They never stop, fascism is basically a paperclip maximiser.

• I currently have one from Panasonic (non EU, unfortunately) which has USB-C. I previously had one with a USB A plug and a proprietary plug. This is far less annoying.

  Also, no risk you could lose the cable and are then unable to charge it if it is just standard USB-C.
