tbf since you have to set up more stuff by yourself in arch it is more susceptible to human failure
before i learned of archinstall, i would install arch and after around a month the timezone would stop working
though cachy did break for me and i couldn’t update for like a month before i switched back to arch because the login manager in cachy would load forever (thankfully, it did have snapper set up so that wasn’t a big issue. i even put snapper in my next arch installation)

just some corrections:
Kibibyte is KiB (though Kilobyte is kB, i believe because a capital K in SI is meant for a constant, though KB is used sometimes when people are using it to mean 1024 bytes, but never 1000);
and TiB is Tebibyte instead of Tibibyte, since it’s a variant of Terabyte (first two letters are the same)also another fun fact: windows uses KB, MB, GB, etc with the old 1024 format, and that causes some issues like a 2 TB drive will show up as 1.82 TB in windows, because they’ve procrastinated adding an i to TiB for almost three decades

that’d come back to what are the world’s features and are steve’s
is it steve that breaks and places everything strictly in 1x1 cubes, or is it a limitation on the actual world? is it steve that brings up UIs or is it the villagers?
though i was mostly talking about getting resources from the chests, how would chests work? if you place something in one without going through the UI, does it disapear after 5 minutes? can you take out items without going through the UI?
can you pick up anything without the NBT Tags that hold the information about what items you have? can a person collide with the world without a hitbox? does the person experience gravity? if yes, where would they be pulled? it’s only a couple hundred meters of mass under them, with an amount larger than earth around them.

hopefully start in a forest, break leaves for apples, and then follow a river until you find a village or something else to get tools
starting in a desert would be pretty bad unless you can scoop out the insides of cacti to eat. im not sure how much of minecraft rules are steve’s doing and how much are the world’s
