If wonder if they will just fill it with non-printable unicode characters. It would be the easiest to implement, and fairly effective for most casual users.
Sure it’s trivial to make a tool to strip the text of those characters. But someone would have to be dedicated to cheating to bother.

This is kinda irrelevant for a new user, but vi/vim is available literally everywhere. If you need to shh onto another machine and edit some files, it’s the only editor you can reliably expect to exist.
I’m still waiting for them to announce the upgrade path. My remaining pair of Allbirds shoes still doesn’t have any AI functionality. No care for old cusomers.
