Python as glue is absolutely a use. The big advantage of Python is that it also has a broad range of use and expands what a single developer can do in cases where time and cost of development is more important then code efficiencey and long term support. Basically quick often throwaway apps to get something done.
Edit: Python is a good alternative to say tcl, perl, R, matlab, VB, etc.

You generally do no write Python for speed though generally the apeed is good enough. You write it for minimal effort of coding plus libraries. Why do people use Matlab ҄and R, same.

Python is slow often 1% of the speed of a fully parallelized and vectorized C app compiled specifically for your architecture. There are ways to improve speed like libraries, PyPy, numba, etc of course but often theٌse are application specific and do not always give the performance you might think. I love Python, but for speed it is not the best.

Of course, Python. Just look at the TIOBE language popularity index. The top languages all have some rational for use. Not so popular have less reasons to use or just narrower application range. See www.tiobe.com/tiobe-index/ .

The idea that credit is so important is an artifact of the system. Sharing is its own reward. Most so called inventions and discoveries are things that others have already done or will do anyway but get no credit for. This is from someone who has published peer reviewed papers and has many patents. I still believe the credit issue is largely bullshit. The exception is that yes you kind of have to play the game to work the system and it is important for that reason.

Knowledge cannot be stollen. That concept is human fabrication. Knowledge is meant to be shared and once share is flow freely.
The Girls school issue. This is simple. The Iran war was in most aspects rushed, unplanned, unwise, and impulsive. This is about leadership.

The problem. You cannot lie to an agent, but you can remain silent. Your also taking an action with a known consequence and an action that is not allowed.

This is not mysterious. You do not have to unlock your phone if it uses a password which is something you know, but you cannot delete your data. This has always been a well known rule.
I am not sure why Ubuntu installed on hardware in a media center box is not fine. Just use a wireless keyboard and track ball combo. Stream with any web browser. Very simple. We have done this for 20 years.
