It really depends on what you’re building. In an embedded shop, lookup tables are first class solutions to most problems. Computer scientists though, 100%!

Please do not call these devices license plate readers. They are surveillance tools with capabilities that far exceed that of normal license plate reading devices. It’s like calling an RPG a spear.

I quit because of the constant advertising causing interruptions to my workflow. Unacceptable. I switched over to Linux generally because I kept finding Windows to be a deeply unserious and frankly disrespectful OS.

I’ve seen bubble sort implemented because we had data that said it was faster and was slightly smaller for the exact type data we were sorting and its expected distribution.
