The plot focuses on the MC trying to solve a murder, which wouldn’t be my job. They do all get called out for being terrible women of God. It is implied that this nunnery might be where they send problem women.

Misericorde. I think I could spend a year in a late 15th C nunnery where they mostly like to drink wine and play chess.
I’ve been told many times I’m too literal. They are wrong, I am appropriately literal. However, it is something people tell me.
