Strong recommend for Seafile. It’s way faster than nextcloud, it has a good web ui, and nice clients on all platforms.
I can not express how much faster than nextcloud it is.
Obviously open source too.

Like I am not a fan of LLM slop coded projects, but I don’t think what you said can be honestly claimed to be accurate.

Snaps I agree just because there is no open source snap store and it’s impossible to set up a 3rd party store.
Flatpaks though? They let people install packages with weird / rare / not available requirements on any distro. All open source with a really nice sandbox. I think flatpaks are great.

Hot take. Nextcloud is hot garbage. If you want file sync use Seafile. So so so so much faster and more resource efficient. For the rest of next cloud functionality just use a tool specific to that.
Nextcloud is still tied to the old php/fpm model. There are better approaches now days. Hell even owncloud is rewriting away from the php/fpm approach.
Linux, Windows, and MacOS devs definitely do use LLMs to help with coding.
In your defense NetBSD does not, but I would not consider NetBSD to be one of the big 3.
