it knows nearby wifi SSIDs and their hardware addresses, which are trivially easy to use to narrow down a location to a rather precise area. I’m pretty sure the GN video covered that as well, and showed GPS coordinates or a street address being transmitted.
You’re right about the power strip tho.

I enjoy using mods to play as a quadruped with no hands or arms, but with fangs and horns (which are both small blades), and some mutations that play well into it.
I’d love to try being a truekin dog but I haven’t figured out yet how to wish for fangs (since the mod that lets me pick any body plan for truekin doesn’t add fangs to creatures which normally have them)
edit: I remembered I just played as a truekin dog without fangs and eventually just started wearing girsh fangs which do the same job and aren’t terribly difficult to find

I can’t back up my own driveway with “maneuvering assist” enabled or it slams on the brakes every time it gets close to a completely harmless fern on the passenger side. Every time it happens it’s so infuriating that I could actually scream. So it’s now off.

One interesting finding relates to driving modes. While almost all new cars have them, just 27.3 percent of respondents say they regularly use their vehicle’s driving mode. Those aged 25 to 34 were more likely to use them, at 38.3 percent.

but I’d guess that some of the technologies that make SS travel possible may make subsonic travel more efficient.
I wouldn’t count on that. if a plane is optimized for efficiency during the longest part of its flight, which would presumably be supersonic cruise at high altitude, a bunch of things that make modern airliners as efficient as they are (blended winglets, and turbofan engines where the fan generates more thrust than the actual turbine engine exhaust) are directly counter to that
