I work in the clothing industry. When I learned you can bulk order as a vendor, I replaced half my wardrobe with cheap, comfortable, quality shirts and heat pressed custom designs on all of them so they’re unique. Now I have my own personal brand on half my wardrobe!
I have a few Linux, EndeavourOS and Bazzite shirts as well :)

Yep. About 19950 of those games are junk you wouldn’t want to play and the other 50 are usually poorly ported and you have to dig through the list for hours to find them.
You’re better off getting one that has no preloaded games and pirating.

I had a somewhat similar introduction. My Windows XP ran into a blue screen on boot and I couldn’t afford tech support or a Windows CD to reinstall. This was well before I knew how to pirate software.
So one of the ladies in tech support at my high school recommended I try Ubuntu. I think it was version 8 at the time and had a really charming boot sound.
I was instantly hooked when I came across the GTK/Emerald theming options because I was big into RocketDock at the time but again couldn’t afford to buy it. When I found out you could customize everything all the way to the boot menu without hacking it, I spent the next six months learning the whole system to build it into a fully custom personal theme from boot to desktop.
It took until Proton hit its stride before I could finally daily it but I almost always had it available in the side on at least one or two of my computers.

The main thing I use mine for is being able to check notifications without having to grab my phone. I already enjoy wearing a watch, so the time, date, temperature and any other bonus info I want can be there too.
That’s about where it stops though. It should be a mostly passive device. I don’t think the design of fiddling with buttons and talking to it are reasonable. It should tell you information, not take it.

I have been having excellent luck with MkDocs Material. It’s very lightweight and has a ton of extensibility. Their documentation itself is written using their own software and gives you a great idea of what it has to offer: squidfunk.github.io/mkdocs-material/
I use it both at work and for a game squadron wiki. It’s entirely written in Markdown so syntax is pretty quick to learn as well. Not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for, but it’s become my new go to for documentation.

Am I missing something. I can sort of get it to half-work through WINE, but it’s nothing in comparison to native Mac or even Windows. Is there a native build or do I just have to know what I’m doing with the audio stack?

My TV has no Internet connection, but does connect to my gaming desktop. I agree with you. There’s no reason TVs should not just be dumb displays. I do also have the Apple TV, but it never ever shows ads and is a one-time purchase. The day it starts showing me ads is the day it meets the bin.

All it takes is a software update for these to be bricks. If (and when) Tesla goes under, I doubt they will allow driverless cars that are no longer owned by a company. They will inevitably lock their firmware down as much as possible. It will, for all intents and purposes, just stop working the day the company stops existing.
Or the new model will come out and they’ll just stop supporting them. Or any number of other cynical tactics that Tesla and companies like it have shown time and again that they are totally open to doing.
How are these going to be any different than the e-waste scooters and bikes that have to be Frankensteined (Berm Peak YT link) to barely get working? And these can’t even be used as traditional cars as a fallback. They are made only to be driven by wire.
Now any minor stoppage is a journey ender. Need to go around an accident and an officer is directing but your car is confused? Can’t. Need to interrupt it as it starts approaching an animal or child it doesn’t see? Can’t. Need to pursue in rough weather because someone is injured in the passenger seat? Can’t.
Sure, you might say, “But you wouldn’t hire one of these vehicles in those scenarios.” But now that vehicle is destined for a short life as an upscale taxi that will never be used for anything practical. No second chance to do literally anything practical or useful.
These are all things every single car up to this point has been expected to be able to do. It’s a machine at the end of the day. The new standard is to start taking those things away and finding a ways to make us pay a premium to get them back. Trust me when I say the end goal in these people’s minds is that we all sit in cars that we pay for but never get to drive.
So yes, I am cynical because every one of these companies has given me nothing but reason to be cynical.

Another major bonus is the fact that it only takes about a weekend of study to learn how to maintain and repair 99% of bike parts. Also, far cheaper parts. And also free bonus exercise.

One of the ideas behind it is that people can scope out easy targets for robbery by checking houses through street view. Even if all you’re adding is a tiny bit of inconvenience, that may be the difference between you being the target or someone else.

Same here! I can put together a half-descent network in just a few hours, but even programming simple stuff on microcontrollers is a major endeavor. And the documentation is usually terrible or nonexistent. And the tutorials are usually barely able to cover basic questions. At least in the space of networking, there’s enough context clues in the UI that I can piece together the solution I need.

MC:LA is a mixed bag. If you enjoyed 3 and wanted more of that, it delivers on that dream. It also just had a very enjoyable and challenging story progression. Not all the gameplay compares to modern games though and there are some nice-to-haves that just weren’t the standard yet, so don’t expect a completely smooth experience.
I should get around to booting it up on an emulator. It might be up to it these days.

Oh my gosh finally! I can enjoy the vector experience! I’ve always felt this was missing from KDE. I would show my friends all the benefits of Linux, but when I showed them by wasting approximately 1-2 minutes, you could embiggen your mouse cursor to absurd proportions, their eyes lit up unlike anything before. They wanted it the moment they knew the potential of infinite cursor sizing.
But I often made the amateur mistake of embiggening a few pixels too far and their delight would rapidly plunge into disappointment as they came to the realization that it was simply scaling up a raster render of the cursor in a lazy post-processed Easter egg.
They all leave the room in a huff, sending my attempts to reach out directly to voicemail, unanswered. But this. This will change everything. Thank you KDE. This is what we had all been waiting for.

This was the first game I played with raytracing and they nailed it first try. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else use it so well yet. There are so many scenes that look like promotional renders, but then you can just go walking around in it.
Not to mention an amazing story I wasn’t at all prepared for. We could definitely use more games like it.

The whole idea of someone not being sure if they want to use Linux while having an aversion to systemd, a system they likely don’t even have full context for, is just bizarre.
You’re either new and don’t know what you want or you’re someone who already knows well enough if Linux is for you or not, and likely exactly which version you want to use.

The product might be real though. The image looks legit to my eyes at least. All the right amounts of image blur and whatnot for a phone camera. I agree that the artwork looks generated if not low-effort at the very least.

The stack doesn’t quite work like that. They would get added like this:
This > buffer
great, is, one > stackThen, each + pulls the latest off the stack and operates.
First + would pull ‘one’ as it’s the most recent on the stack.
